    • Creation of agreements necessary for the sale of broadband services. Including master service agreements, indefeasible right of use agreements for dark fiber, service orders and acceptance notices
    • Selling broadband services to customers, including dark fiber, lit service and colocation
    • Negotiating contract terms, finalizing the sale
  • Business Cases
    • We have extensive experience developing detailed business cases, that looks at the cash flow, return on investment, revenue, expenses and capital costs. We can work with you to develop your business case, allowing an inside look into your business and operation
  • Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Filings
    • We can help you provide comment and input to the FCC. If the FCC has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on a topic of interest to you, we can prepare a document responding to key questions in the NPRM. The NPRM typically asks for input and data from interested parties as the FCC formulates rules. Providing comment and data back to the FCC is crucial if you want to make sure your voice is heard at the FCC, and to ensure they take account of the data you have. We’ll help you gather the data, prepare the document, review the document with you and finally submit the document to the FCC. We can follow up with a face to face presentation to the FCC where you give key FCC staff the opportunity to ask questions. This forum also allows you to provide further insight to concepts and proposals you have communicated via your NPRM response.
  • Tracking of FCC policy, decisions and thinking
    • We can help you keep track of FCC policy and decisions for a particular docket. For example, the Schools and Library program (E-rate) or the Rural Health Care Connect Fund. If you want to have summary papers on decisions or just need a conference call to get up to speed on FCC actions, let us know.
  • Grants
    • If you need a complete grant application written and submitted, we can help. We have a lot of experience with grant writing and most recently developed and submitted grants for ARRA BTOP projects in Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio.
  • E-Rate
    • We have significant experience with E-rate from both an applicant perspective and a service provider perspective. We have provided input to the FCC regarding E-rate modernization and presented directly to the FCC on behalf of our clients. The FCC prefers input backed by concrete data from the field. We can work with you to collect school and library data for your region or state.
  • Request for Proposal / Request for Information
    • We have written and developed multiple requests for proposals and requests for information covering technical requirements as well as developing partnerships. We can work with you to develop an RFP/RFI.
  • Developing Public – Private Partnerships
    • We have deep experience developing public – private partnerships, from both the perspective of a private company as well as a public entity. We can help you determine the form of partnership, as well as run the partner selection process, negotiate terms with the partner and draw up and finalize the partnership agreement.
